Norton Radstock Badminton
Norton Radstock Badminton Club is run by badminton players, for badminton players with the intention of providing adults and juniors a place to exercise with a difference.

We pride ourselves on our friendly approach and invite all aged 11 years and over with a basic badminton ability to come along and enjoy an inexpensive evening of socialising and exercise. We are not a league club so there is no pressure of meeting high expectations.

All you need to enjoy our club is a badminton racquet, suitable clothes and that’s it!
COVID 19 UPDATE
Please read Badminton England’s guidelines on a safe return to play as it is the responsibility of all our members to understand the restrictions and requirements before they attempt a return to the court.

about us

We are based at the new Writhlington Sports Centre in Radstock. There are four full sized courts with a ‘flo-tex’ type flooring which offers a hard but forgiving surface to play on. In the winter it’s warm and in the summer it’s cool.

As always, you are very welcome to join us. If you’re unsure, contact us and we can explain how our very casual club is run.

Come along, we’re a friendly bunch!

HOW TO JOIN

Joining is simple: Either telephone or email us explaining how many people are wanting to join. If the club is currently full, we can place you on a waiting list and inform you when a place becomes available.

If you are considering joining NR Badminton, it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with the clubs Terms and Conditions. This outlines how the club is run.

Payment for the term is due at the beginning of that term and that automatically makes you a member. As a member, you are guaranteed a place at the club for the term and you have first refusal to renew your membership in the next term.

TIMES & FEES

Norton-Radstock Badminton Club meets on Monday evenings from 7:00pm until 9:30pm.

Please be aware, dates can change without notice although this website will be updated as often as possible. If you are in doubt, please ring.

Fees are paid on a ‘per season’ basis and are as follows:

Autumn/Winter (1st September to 28/29th February) & Spring/Summer (1st March to 31st August)

Adults: £72 per season (£144 per year)
Juniors: £36 per season (£72 per year) (a ‘junior’ is a person aged 11 to 16 – or 18 if in full time education)

We believe our fees of less than £3.oo per week is amazing value.
